SECTION -A

1. Read the following passage and answer the questions given below it :

"O Yaksha, 'Dharma' is the only shield of man and not Bhima or Arjuna. If 'Dharma' is given up, man will be ruined. Kunti and Madri were the two wives of my father. I am alive, a son of Kunti and so she is not completely bereaved. In order that the scales of justice may be even, I ask that Madri's son, Nakula may revive."

Good deeds may be done by anyone in any walk of life -- by the soldier in battle field, by the woman in the home, the nurse in the hospital, the boy at school or the inventor in the laboratory. Such performance is the happiness both of the doer and of those for whom it is done. The memory of a good deed inspires others to do likewise with their fellow men.
